What is a Book?

Exploring the past and future of the book.

After weeks of research and debate about the fundamental nature of books, each of us provided our own time-based response to the prompt – what is a book?

My response was to frame the topic through an animated poem. The animation provides context and hints at some of the underlying issues of the printed page and its would-be successors. I chose to highlight the themes of authority and ownership as they seem to be key to the past and future of print and digital media.
